Outdoor play at Adsum Park and the Maples spray pad

Get to know Adsum Park’s playground and seasonal spray pad when exploring outdoor amenities around Pipeline Road.

← Living Near Pipeline

Looking for outdoor places to add to a neighbourhood visit? Adsum Park is one recreation destination to explore in the broader area around Pipeline Road. The City of Winnipeg lists the Maples spray pad at 434 Adsum Drive.

In its announcement about the park improvements, the City described an accessible spray pad and playground, along with paths, seating, picnic tables and shade structures. Those features offer different ways to spend time outdoors, from active play to a seated break.

Plan for the season

The spray pad is a seasonal attraction, so do not assume the water is operating whenever the park is accessible. Check the City’s current spray-pad information before planning a warm-weather outing, and look for any temporary closure notices.

When visiting from a prospective rental, consider the route as well as the destination. Look at crossings, the weather and what you would need to bring. Exploring a park in person helps you decide whether it suits the kind of outdoor time you enjoy, without relying on an estimated travel time from a listing.
