Kilcona Park is a substantial outdoor destination in northeast Winnipeg, but a visit currently needs a little planning. The City announced improvement work beginning in August 2026, including work around the dog area and the former Harbourview complex.

For renters researching 309 Grassie Boulevard, it is useful to know both that the park exists and that access arrangements are changing. The City says dogs must remain on leash throughout the affected area until road construction is complete.
