Library planning from Grassie: Munroe and Henderson
Know about Munroe Library’s repair closure and where the City has directed holds pickups.
Munroe Library, at 489 London Street, is a branch to know about when researching east Winnipeg. However, its official page says it is closed until further notice for building repairs as of this guide’s September 2026 check.
The City has directed Munroe holds pickups to Henderson Library. That matters if you are considering 309 Grassie Boulevard and want to establish a library routine: check the current branch notice before travelling or selecting a pickup location.
The library page also explains return arrangements during the closure. Once services change, use the City’s branch information to confirm what is available. Keeping this link bookmarked is more useful than relying on a fixed reopening date, which can change as repair work progresses.
